Story
A romance novel series that tells the tales of romance for four siblings; Davu, Delu, Dumi, and Adon Ayele.
Davu is the eldest, the brother that feels the need to look after his younger brothers and sister. After a disaster that happened many years ago, this driven obligation became an all consuming duty. The only love he has is for his family. Romance is not a pleasure he can allow himself, not after the sins he has committed in his past.
Delu is the only daughter and something of an advisor to her brothers. She offers wisdom and direction when her siblings lose their way. Her childhood lover was promised to another, shattering her heart and sending her fleeing from her home. What lies ahead for her future and her happiness?
Dumi is the third child, the cheerful one of the group, though there is a sadness behind the mirth in his eyes. His wife, Neha, and their five children form the foundation of his joy, but like Davu, a tragedy of the past riddles him with grief, even to this day. Likewise, his meeting with his future bride and their courtship thereafter was a tumultuous one.
Adon is the youngest, and his is the first story in the series titled, "The Carpenter And The Nightingale". He is the stoic little brother who has an inexplicable estrangement to his brothers. His relationship to his sister is wildly contrary to the one he shares with his brothers. Yet, the animosity is a one-sided animosity, for where Adon cannot bear the sight of his older brothers, Davu and Dumi harbor nothing in their hearts for him, other than an abundance of unconditional love. His chance meeting with a young widow and her bright-eyed little boy was an encounter that would change his life, forever.
