Calico

Catriona Isles is a country made up of a series of islands. Most of the islands are small, but the island of Calico is bigger than all of the other islands combined. Calico is where the story mostly takes place and Calico City is where the Sweet Shoppe is located.

Calico, like all of the other islands of Catriona Isles, is ruled by a royal family; an emperor, an empress, and their children, princes and princesses of their respective kingdoms. Calico is ruled by Emperor Artemis and Empress Avalon. Alder, their eldest son and Crowned Prince, will one day lead in his father's place, but for now, he is happy being a prince along with his brothers, Arjuna and Palm.

The climate of Calico is a tropical region full of valleys, jungles, forests, and mountains. Water is abundant from the surrounding ocean, to the many rivers, streams, and waterfalls that are distributed throughout the kingdom. The people of Calico primarily get their food from the sea, but they also raise flightless birds for food and for transport. Being a land that is rich and full of life, Calico is a country that flourishes in trade and export. Their primary goods are eggs, meat, fish, and fresh water.
